Q1. JUST got really popular recently, and we heard this community project got a lot of support from TRON. Can you make a brief introduction about it, and what this new project will benefit to TRON’s users?

Justin Sun:

JUST is the first stablecoin lending DeFi project running on TRON and also the first project initiated on Poloniex LaunchBase. It saw a whopping 5 to 20-times price surge in its trading debut. In particular, OKEX has given support for the JST airdrop plan for TRX holders. We greatly appreciate that!

It can be said that JUST has become the moat surrounding the TRON ecosystem. Users can collateralize TRX at JUST’s CDP portal to generate USDJ, a decentralized stablecoin pegged to US dollars at 1:1. The USDJ minted is at users’ free disposal. The benefit of that is you don’t have to sell TRX to own stablecoins, which can be used for arbitrage in the lending market with ease. On top of that, JUST reinforces the advantages of TRON as a DeFi platform and helps boost the efficiency of Poloniex, making Polo the top platform to launch projects.

JST drives its value from the engagement on JUST platform. Q2. We have just witnessed the 4-year-round Bitcoin’s Halving Day, so what’s your further plan to embrace this big news in crypto world?

Personally I never doubt that 2021 will be a year of crypto bull market. Further, statistics show that a robust Bitcoin market in its mid stage will render enormous opportunities to other cryptocurrencies. With a surge in the price of Bitcoin, 2021 will see a revitalized and booming blockchain industry marked by increasing varieties and total market cap of blockchain assets. While the current market cap stood at $200–250 billion, I personally believe that the number is projected to exceed $1 trillion in the coming bull market.

The world of crypto is never short of miracles. It is my strong belief that a man with vision never despairs when a tide ebbs. Instead, he will take it as a chance to thoroughly observe the sea and gear up for the next big wave. For TRON, what we can do is to keep building a solid blockchain infrastructure in a down-to-earth manner. Only in this way will we grab a big share in the future DeFi market as an underlying financial infrastructure.

Q3. TRON has recently received the financial support from US government, what do you plan to use this huge cash flow?

The fund from the US government matters a lot. It shows how TRON is recognized by the US authority and how its team is valued by people home and abroad. Q4. There are a lot of projects and initiatives under the TRON umbrella , how do you allocate your resources and energy to JUST and what expectations do you have on it?

TRON is one of the world’s largest decentralized ecosystems, ranking among the top three public chains and fully worthy of the name “China’s №1 public chain”. Next, TRON will continue to focus its efforts on the layout of the entire ecosystem, and seek breakthroughs in certain specific areas while maintaining a stable development.

First, Poloniex will keep developing on the TRON ecosystem, and further its integration with TRON. LaunchBase is only the first stage, following which TRX will become the only designated currency on Poloniex, giving users discount privileges in transaction fee payment, airdrop campaigns, etc. Follow our updates to know more.

Second, we have cooperation with Samsung. TRON’s DApps are already launched in the Galaxy Store, so that many overseas users now have access to TRON DApps on Samsung. This gives us great encouragement and we will also further our cooperation with Samsung in the future. I have the confidence that TRON DApp will achieve remarkable growth this year.

Lastly, TRONZ shielded network is something to look forward to. Our MPC Torch Project was already a huge hit. In the next stage, our focus will be on rolling out privacy protocols, followed by projects like sidechain, cross-chain and one-click blockchain deployment. TRON really has never stopped advancing. We hope to release these projects to the public as soon as possible.

Q5. More and more USDT are issued on the Tron network, would you like to tell us more about it?

Recently, TRC20-USDT is advancing in record speed, and its volume of circulation has passed the 2.1 billion mark. Apart from its two attractive features — fast in transaction and low in service fees, TRC20-USDT is becoming ever more users’ first choice because a growing number of exchanges have started to embrace it. So it will not be long before USDT becomes a stablecoin for everyone.

Furthermore, I believe that the circulation volume of TRC20-USDT will likely exceed $10 billion. Not only does TRC20-USDT boost the ecosystem of TRON’s existing decentralized DApps, it also provides higher overall value storage and stronger liquidity for decentralized exchanges, offering more convenient entry to blockchain for corporate partners and institutional investors. Shall the momentum continue, the future of TRC20-USDT cannot be underestimated.
